Not really strange, but it's not classical either and I don't look into the other music threads all that much any more.

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

This popped up on my feed too. Loved it. Particularly the sly references to I Will Survive.

Dudley Moore's movie successes kind of buried his talents not only ;) as a musician but also ;) a composer, as well as his start as a comedian in Beyond the Fringe and his partnership with Peter Cook. He certainly had fun with Beethoven.



And now back to a little strangeness: The case of the sinking piano. It was caused by a sticking gas pedal.

More Marimba. Not a strange instrument, of course, but the music is modern - therefore strange.

The performer, Jisu Jung, is an utter virtuoso.
