In case my original post was a ambiguous - I love that piece of music. FZ is one of my all time favourite musicians.

Not a major fan but I had the 'hot rats' LP (god I feel old saying LP) when I was a kid.

Hot Rats was a fun album. My favourite track is The Gumbo Variations. The electric violin solo by Sugarcane Harris is one of the filthiest things I've ever heard.
Pink Napkins is an all time classic track too (albeit from a different and much later album).

A book is a version of the world. If you do not like it, ignore it; or offer your own version in return.

Yeah - his dad moved around a lot. In his teens it was San Berdino/Sun Valley and out on the edge of the California desert.Animavore wrote:Actually Baltimore. I looked it up.Xamonas Chegwé wrote:LA.Animavore wrote:That stuff is weird and hard to get into but once you do

Reminds me a little of King Crimson,* and a little (though not quite so much) of Emerson Lake & Palmer Maybe cuz it's jazzy

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Zappa was a artistic genius.
