I wish I could hear "Flood" by They Might Be Giants. Well at least I can hear one song of it.
The album "Superhero" by Stephen Lynch.

My daughter found her cheerleader doll that had been 'misplaced' since Christmas. So, I'm listening to this....
....over and over and over again.

I'm selecting music to play a week from sunday, when I'll spin records at a deep funk concert:
A lot of Al Green, Curtis Mayfield, Dinah Washington, Dr. John, Gnarls Barkley, Jamiroquai, Lefties Soul Connection, Little Richard, Marvin Gaye, The New Mastersounds, Otis Redding, Prince, Sam Cooke, Sugarman Three etc.

Re: What are you listening to?
A weird medley in my head:
1. "Abso-funkin'-lutely" (a piano etude by David Rakowski)
2. "What is Hip?" by Tower of Power
3. the 2nd movement of Tchaikovsky's 2nd symphony
4. A piece I'm writing tentatively called "Storage Barrel of the Gods"
Going around and around in my head. I feel a bit ill, actually.

I think that language has a lot to do with interfering in our relationship to direct experience. A simple thing like metaphor will allows you to go to a place and say 'this is like that'. Well, this isn't like that. This is like this.
