I was incredibly lucky to gorw up when I did. When I was just entering my teens people like Pat Boon, Frank Sinatra and the 'newcomer' breed like Brian Highland and the Righteous Brothers, Elvis of course - the beginnings of Rock and Pop - were everywhere. Suddenly the Beatles, swiftly followed by the so called 'British Invasion' arrived and literally everything changed. Overnight what was 'cool' for kids changed. It must have left the Brian Highlands and Pat Boons of this world scratching their heads.
