Dunno, it's difficult to compare them because Lennon was killed early on. I think they both released two astonishing albums each right at the start, Plastic Ono Band and Imagine, and McCartney and Ram, and I find these albums much more satisfying than their Beatles work. Besides those two albums mentioned, though, did Lennon do anything good post-Beatles besides a good song here or there? And McCartney as well. After those two great albums, was there anything of value afterwards besides a handful of catchy singles? I did love Band on the Run and London Town, mind, but I don't think they can compare to McCartney and Ram.
As far as who was better, I'd have to say Lennon. Quite a bit more substance, I should think. As far as who I like better, I'd have to say McCartney. Ram is probably my favorite album of all time. It's pure magic.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.
