You're wrong.

Oh and, The Jam suck. Paul Weller is an arsehole.
He's right, and while I agree that Paul Weller is an arsehole, The Jam had an energy and drive that Radiohead can only dream of.

It's interesting to read Thom Yorke's words - all about hating being "big", never wanting to create "art" (implying that he has) and other crap denials.

Even REM came up with something as silly and fun as Shiny, Happy, People, if only to prove they can fucking do it.

The "Big Sell" from the Seventies has always been The Clash, a band beloved of the NME and other musical press, but of fucking nobody I've ever met.

Proper popular music.

Radiohead's for people who think popular music has immense depth and gravitas. :hehe:

Mamma Mia is better, and more important, than all of Radiohead's work put together.

And 4' 33" is better and more important than all of Mozart's works put together. Your point being? :tea:

Pierce Brosnan was surprisingly good in that film but I would never describe any type of music as "important". It's not vaccines.

No. Merely pointing out that musical taste is, by its very nature, subjective, in a lighthearted way.

So is any concept of musical 'importance' tbh. Any musician that thinks their music is important needs to get out more. :tea:
