But it reeks of authenticity. It's my ex's ex who is "the band" and a lot of work and emotion goes into making it. Constructing the sounds, piecing them together based on emotion and his perception of beauty, etc, etc.

I wonder where the border between modern doof doof and "proper" music goes. Is it all electronica, or is it commercialized pop music that is doof doof?
