The morning sun when it's in your face really shows your age
But that don't worry me none - in my eyes you're everything.

Unbearable or great
You gotta love every hour, you must appreciate
This is your time
This is your day
You've got it all
Don't blow it away

The message is perfectly simple
The meaning is clear
Don't ever stray too far
And don't disappear
No don't disappear

I don't wanna live forever.

What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Actually I was listening to the HD version - but the words were remembered from the original - I actually think HD sing it slightly different, "I ain't gonna live forever."

Who is the gaucho, amigo?
Why is he standing in your spangled leather poncho,
And your elevator shoes?
Bodacious cow-boys, such as your friend,
Will never be welcome here,
High in the Custer Dome.

I move a little closer to you,
not knowing quite what to do and I'm,
feeling all fingers and thumbs.
