I can't believe none of you posted his award winning performance for the Eurovision Pop Contest.

It's just played out - we're more in to Cliff's album tracks and B-sides.

He was hardcore in the old days. They even banned him from the radio for using so few expletives.

Youse guys are selling him short, just think of what he did to restart the roller skating fad. ( well, him and that wonderful musical, Starlight Express. )All us kids were dying to get skates after that. And Walkmans too.

And sometimes hits are hits and justly famous. :swoon:

fucks sake, i too thought he had snuffed it when i read the title. no such luck eh. just a reminder that hes still alive?

my contempt for this man is fairly bottomless for 2 reasons.
1) that lords prayer shit, jesus felching shitmusic christ that was awful.

2) i saw an interview with him where he had the sheer balls to come out with "back in the 60s and 70s EVERYONE was doing drugs and having promiscuous sex, i didnt, i stayed true to my beliefs in both the church and living a clean lifestyle despite all the pressure to jump on board the permissive bandwagon. Now i ask you, who was the ACTUAL rock and roll rebel?

cunt.

eta OMG i forgot about mistletoe and wine.

I share your pain, Matty. There were a few seconds between spotting this thread in the new posts and it appearing that i thought it was in The Wake. Those were happy seconds. :sigh:

You should realise he's been given extra time because of his influence on the suicide charts? :crumple:
