That's what you just don't get when firearms become easily available. I bet our resident D-K posterboy will come along presently and opine that the more bikers shoot each other dead, the better. The problem with that argument is that the ready availability of guns results in fuckwits shooting each other everywhere for the most idiotic reason, simply because they happen to have a firestick within reach. What idiotic reason will suffice? Well, being served a drink containing clam juice instead of tomato juice will do, for example. Just another anecdote, to be sure, but anecdotes like that seem to be mounting at a sufficient rate to become statistically significant, and they are much more easily verified than the nebulous ones John Lotte massaged out of various sources.

that barman is in need of another job, the guy did look Jewish and you just don't serve clam juice to juwes... the reaction was maybe a bit extreme, but what do you expect when you ask for something kosher and, presumably deliberately, are served something that is not?

As things go, he was either looking for it, or too stupid to do his job properly (like, say, ask if clamato is ok... the guy migh have had major clam allergy instead)

I'm still not for depriving people of guns.... the day this country sinks into civil war, I'll be on the losing side because I can't defend myself... and I have very little faith in our police or military to defend me, the police being untrustworthy and the military dreadfully understaffed.
