I guess the guy had to take it down. It was a clip from Sacha Baron Cohen's new tv show in which he gets a bunch of Republicans to endorse arming kindergartners with guns so they can defend themselves against mass shooters.

Today's Vibrio goes to Earle Stevens Jr. Earle was stopped in Vero Beach for DUI but said he was not drinking and driving, he only drank his Jim Beam when at a stop light or stop sign. Earle blew a 0.153, about twice the legal limit. Earle also did not have a drivers license. Well done, Earle, for keeping up the finest Florida Man traditions.

Judging from his picture Mr. Crenshaw was not a winner in life's genetic lottery.
He seems 'armless enough.

Cohen’s satire:
That's what he does in the last and longest segment — the one you'll be hearing about — in which he poses as an Israeli "terrorism expert" named Col. Erran Morad who's pitching a program called "Kinderguardians." The Kinderguardians program, he says to those whose support he's seeking, trains children as young as three or four to carry guns in school to protect against school shootings.

Interesting. Something I've occasionally wondered about - what must is be like wondering if anyone walking by you in the street might pull out a gun.

The only time I have ever felt unsafe actually out and about in the UK was unavoidably having to walk through Brixton (outer London rough area) - and then nothing happened anyway.

Also interesting that she describes the mindset/outlook she describes staying with you even in well to do 'safe' areas.

Yeah, the fear thing is quite real. So many Americans completely overestimate their chances of being victims of crime. It's way out of step with reality.

Most of our neighborhoods are just fine, even with all the gun ownership.

My kids babysat the neighbor’s kids once. The kids had talked of daddy’s gun in the garage. They never babysat again.
