This is not US news.... a French man is charged with killing his wife. He's a sports shooter and claims it was an accident while cleaning a gun.

Killing people while cleaning a loaded weapon should be a crime of its own, and punishable with the highest penalties available under the legal code. People that stupid are obviously not fit to live free, or to live at all.
