He was eligible before he married or hd motorcycle accident. Maybe too skinny?

His year of college may have saved him that year. National draft numbers came in the late 60s. Mine was 350 in 1972.

I was 262 in '72, 300 in '73, but I switched majors to Theology in '72 so I wouldn't be eligible. I didn't have anything against those little yellow dudes, saw no reason to go kill them.

I refused to register for our draft when I was required to in '72. I was awaiting arrest when the Labour Government came in and abolished conscription...
