Oh we have got sick of apologising ,we are well aware that the empire did horrible things and we too can raise a rout like Dunkirk to heroic status .
Obviously the couple of campaigns in the Americas are not so much part of our national conciousness as they are yours ,we had bigger fish to fry .

I still suffer from terrible nightmares about the Anglo-Zanzibar War. It packed a lot of horrors into its 40 minutes.
