Sexual Education

Post by Mallardz » Tue Aug 03, 2010 1:35 pm

Now in my time ill I have spent a lot of time browsing the internet and find so many things I find greatly funny mostly, in fact probably all, sex stories about ill informed people asking what I believe to be stupid questions. People asking if you can get pregnant from oral sex a the likes. You know the kind of question I mean.

I don't understand ever since I was in about year 2 (That's like 1st grade) I have been reasonably well informed sexually. It's not just me I've never known anyone to ask these stupid questions or honestly ever heard any of these piece of crap sexual rumours like about "blue balls" some girl on the net claiming she had sex with 3 guys so they didn't lose their balls.

I always thought it was just a minority of people, a small pocket of low intellect individuals who must buy into this shit. I know from my few experiences in contact with American teens several years back they were fall less informed than myself but not to a degree that made me perceive them as ill-informed.

Is it just because I'm from Southend prized for being the most whoreish place in Britain that all the children are somehow informed and carry out the legacy or is it just a few pockets of people that have shit education?
Why do Americans seem so much less educated sexually, is the system there shy of sex education?
Did any of you grow up under rumours, fears or stories about sex?

I've just never known anyone ever to believe any of it and have heard most of the rumours from age 15 on Sex Ed DVDs so it's a bit late really by then but the rumours just cracked our classes up we just instantly dismissed any participants as retards.
Ratz it's more addictive than facebook and more fun than crack!

Abstinence only education.

Works wonders, eh?

Ignorance and misinformation about sexual matters is not confined to the uneducated. I went to a school that prided itself for having one of the highest percentages (75) in Australia of its graduates continuing on to tertiary education. It also was a relatively expensive private school, so the students tended to be the children of fairly well-off and presumably well educated bourgeois parents. One of them was a class mate of mine. I don't think he was joking when he told me that his father's advice to avoid conception was for the man to hold his breath while having an orgasm.
