UK, Eire book worms?
You know I put WWII material online. If you happen to hit the used book stores and see something that might be worth putting on our sites, could you let me know? I'm interested in "official" material, not secondary sources. I'll reimburse you if you find something we can use. We need more UK-ish material on the sites. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and we're especially looking for items on the "little known fronts", India and the CBI for example, and for forces such as the South African Forces that get little notice in the US.
TIA.

CBI isn't exactly a minor front judging by the number of books I've seen (and read) on it. I've just spotted another one in the shops - Bag of Bones, about the siege of Kohima:Gawdzilla wrote:Oh, and we're especially looking for items on the "little known fronts", India and the CBI for example, and for forces such as the South African Forces that get little notice in the US.

I'm waiting for it to come out in soft-cover though. I don't buy hardback as a general rule, not even if the copies on sale are signed by the author, as in this case.

Gawdzilla, I have only four words to say about your WW2 documents website.....

It's not only tits, but for an uber-history-nerd like myself, it is Scarlett Johannsen's tits.

Thanks. We've been working on it for over 17 years now. It's starting to take shape.Coito ergo sum wrote:Gawdzilla, I have only four words to say about your WW2 documents website.....
