Re: Romney

We want there to be near full employment, sure, but that can't come at the expense of economic efficiency. Businesses, to keep operating successfully, have run at least at a break even point. Businesses that lose money simply can't survive without a transfusion of cash from outside. That's like a b...

Re: Romney

I can simplify the economics: Romney will cut taxes, attempt to cut down gubment and add to our debt. Unemployement will stay the same. I think Romney has a pretty good chance of cutting back on government spending, given his record in Massachusetts. This is an area where his business background wo...

"Christian" Video Shared With Me On You Tube

This video was sent to me in my inbox at you tube from a user/artist calling himself Gabriel Cross. I wanna know what you guys think of this. The reason? There's something a little off in this song. Just listen and read the lyrics and tell me what you think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCTSH9iGcY8

Re: Rick Perry's Shameless Promotion of Faith in Government

Kudus to Blitzer for calling the asshat out on his BS on Obama's "war on religion." Perry (and others like Rep. Steve King) think that not supporting these organizations because they discriminate is equal to a "war on religion." He said the Obama administration will not support religious organizatio...

Re: Rick Perry's Shameless Promotion of Faith in Government

So, he wants to end Obama's "war on religion."

First, there is no Obama's war on religion. Second, how do you suppose he intends to end this so-called war on religion? Sounds like a litmus test to me.

Re: Rick Perry's Shameless Promotion of Faith in Government

Nonsense. He's not violating the Constitution. The "religious test" provision merely says that GOVERNMENT may not establish a religious test for holding public office. In this case, Congress cannot require candidates for Congress, or the presidency, or any federal job for that matter to fill out a ...

Re: Rick Perry's Shameless Promotion of Faith in Government

Except, of course, that he was talking about personal faith, and he's absolutely correct in everything he says, which does not include, as you suggest, "faith in government." People's faith will always inform their decisions, both in their private lives and, for those in government service as elect...

Rick Perry's Shameless Promotion of Faith in Government

When you run for president, you get a bunch of questions about your faith. People want to know what drives you--how you make decisions. Now some liberals say that faith is a sign of weakness. Well, they're wrong. I think we all need God's help. America's greatest leaders have been people of strong ...
