Well, i'm no expert on biology so I can't refute any of his arguments or defend yours. But invite him over, i'm sure we have a few people here with some knowledge of biology. As I see he is presenting facts about the sinus as he understands things... for all I know he could be right without further...

Re: Losing my patience with Muslim Creationists
A woman friend/partner whatever was stood leaning on a post a few feet away, staring at him with devotion. As I walked by she said quietly to me 'read your bible'. I just tuned to her and said 'don't be so silly'. Ah, diplomacy at its finest. I would have responded with "I have thanks. Biggest work...

Re: Losing my patience with Muslim Creationists
The problem is, you are not challenging an argument but a lifestyle, self image and someones sense of belonging. The personal stakes are very high. What seems like an elementary point for you is a massive shift for them, so they would rather not concede it, however unreasonable that looks. It's eno...

Re: A new government - the first realities
'Scuse the derail... I'm seriously pro child labour. I very much hope my daughter will begin work around 11ish in return for something (pay, rides, experience) that produces a sense of duty to work hard. I think we treat kids weirdly, separate them off socially, herd them into groups by age (around...

Re: Patriotism and Nationalism
I'm neither. I think once the borders eventually come down and we move to be patriotic about humanity and hopefully eventually simply patriotic about life, then the world will be a much better place (sorry to all the undead out there....)

Re: Christian Right Leader Takes Vacation with "Rent Boy"
The pictures on the Rentboy.com profile show a shirtless young man with delicate features, guileless eyes, and sun-kissed, hairless skin . The profile touts his " smooth, sweet, tight ass " and " perfectly built 8 inch cock (uncut) " and explains he is "sensual," "wild," and "up for anything" — as ...

Re: Decent Instrumentals?
Pink Floyd: Terminal Frost. Awesome Sax and Piano sounds and sends a chill up my spine every time i hear it.
Also, not really an instrumental unless you consider the voice used as an instrument, but Pink Floyd's The Great Gig in the Sky. Clare Torry has one hell of a voice.
